Markov
Description
The Risknowlogy Markov tool is an excellent, user friendly, and flexible probabilistic calculation tool for state transition diagrams. It allows analysts to model events that occur over time. The Markov tool is built in such manner that the Markov model and the associated data are separated from each other allowing the analyst to create calculations based on the same model using different data sets.
Features:
- Graphical user interface in English, German, Russion and Spanish
- Markov engine is dimensionless, i.e., you can calculate per hour, per day, per year, etc.
- Graphical and tabular user interface to create Markov models
- Calculations based on Matrix multiplication
- Single or periodic, full or partial redistribution between any states possible
- Definition of groups with states to calculate results
- For each group automatic calculation of probabilities and average probabilities
- Unlimited number of states*
- Unlimited number of transitions
- Unlimited number of start vectors
- Unlimited number of redistribution
- Unlimited number of calculations
- Unlimited number of Data sets per Markov model
- Expression language for data entry (e.g., var1 + var 2 *0.3)
- Output generated in numbers and graphical
- Inspectors for states and transitions
- Analyzers for groups and states
* Limited by memory only
Pricing
The pricing of the tool is for a single user license based on an annual subscription. The fee includes unlimited upgrades during the subscription period.
Requirements
The Markov tool runs platform independent (Windows, Apple, (L)INUX). It is designed to run under Java 5.
