Compact programmable safety systems and I/O module for SafetyBUS p

PILZ introduces 4 compact programmable safety systems (upto AK 6)from the PSS-range that are available with a SafetyBUS p connection and provide complete control over the safety-related functions of a machine, plant or process. As compact systems they are housed within a single space-saving enclosure, providing an economical, safe, electronics-based solution for centralised and decentralised safety-related applications.

The communication range of the safe, open bus system SafetyBUS p is being further expanded. With system connectors already available for Interbus, Profibus DP and ControlNet, the programmable safety system PSS SB 3006 ETH now provides a safe connection to Ethernet TCP/IP.

PILZ also introduced new decentralised digital input/output modules for SafetyBUS p. The range of input and output modules for SafetyBUS p has now been expanded with the PSS SB DI8OZ4, which is suitable for connecting press safety valves to the safe, open bus system SafetyBUS p.
