New Release of T8472 120V AC Output Module

The ICS Triplex R&D team have just completed the design of the T8472 120V ac output module for the Trusted system. The module has completed TUV environmental testing and certification in accordance with IEC 61508 SIL 3 will follow shortly.

Features:

TMR system architecture serving 16 isolated 'Quad-Element' channels per module rated 120Vac, 0.5A
Comprehensive, automatic diagnostics and self-test
Automatic line monitoring per channel to detect open circuit and short circuit field wiring and load faults
Automatic channel over-current protection, no fuses required.
On-board Sequence of Events (SOE) reporting with 1mS resolution
Module can be hot-replaced on-line using dedicated 'Companion Slot' (adjacent slot) or 'SmartSlot' (one spare slot for many modules) configurations
IEC 61508, SIL 3 safety applications
