With Business.FLEX PKS tools, companies typically increase production by 3 to 6 percent, while decreasing costs 1 to 2 percent. Users find significant improvements in operations and value chain management, advanced planning and scheduling, and blending and movement automation. To date, more than 1,000 Business.FLEX PKS solutions have been installed at oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, mining and minerals, pulp and paper and chemical facilities across the globe.

Improvements to v.120 include new Web-based components that leverage Honeywell's Workcenter PKS infrastructure to provide cost-effective, enterprise-wide visibility to operations and production information and enable collaboration across an organization. New applications include:

· KPI Manager, a solution to help management and plant personnel track and analyze daily business performance results with key performance indicators;
· Production Scheduler, a collaborative crude oil scheduling tool that makes use of state-of-the-art mathematics; and
· Operations Management applications, for safe and profitable operations effectiveness.

Business.FLEX PKS v.120 supports Honeywell platforms such as TPS and Experion PKS, Honeywell's next-generation business, process and asset management system, as well as third-party platforms. The product drives business targets to optimum levels, allowing operators to more effectively use Experion PKS to execute plans and schedules in line with business objectives.

Business.FLEX PKS v.120 is being issued in conjunction with the latest release of Uniformance PHD v.201, Honeywell's advanced process historian system for critical plant information. The two systems work together to ensure seamless process integration.
