New HIMA safety-related H41q/H51q-system families with HIQuad Technology
HIQuad Technology was developed specially for the needs of the process industry. The 2 out of 4/QMR (Quadruple Modular Redundant) architecture is TÜV-certified for high available and safety-related Programmable Systems.
All existing architectures have disadvantages regarding availability and were not flexible for handling and so solutions are often overcharged.
With HIQuad Technology, safety up to Requirement Class6/SIL3 for single channel operation is possible without any restrictions. All system configurations of the new H41q/H51q system families allow an indiviual configuration of the availability for the I/O and CPU level. This very cost-effective solution is characterized by highest availability and maximum fault tolerance. Also life cycle costs are minimized.
The new system families offer all existing individual configuration. The existing I/O components can be used.
A safety-related communication between HIMA H51q systems is also possible via Ethernet TCP/IP with 10 Mbit/s. The data transfer can be used redundantly to increase availability.
For communication between individual process components and the systems of the H41q/H51q families, different protocols are available: Modbus, Siemens 3964R, Profibus-DP, OPC (OLE for Process Control) oder Ethernet TCP/IP
