RMP-Pro™ is a dedicated software tool that allows you to create and submit a complete Risk Management Plan (RMP) that complies with the rules and regulations of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Quickly generate detailed reports about hazardous substances at your facility and the risks they pose to both people and the environment, as required by the Clean Air Act (CAA) Section 112(r) [Rule 40 CFR Part 68]. Under the RMP Rule, each facility that stores or works with hazardous substances should have already submitted an RMP to the EPA by June 21, 1999 or they will face severe penalties. As part of this rule if the onsite inventory increases or decreases, the RMP submission must be modified to reflect current conditions. At this time, companies are approaching their 5-year resubmission periods where their RMP will need to be revalidated and resubmitted to the EPA.
