Lwazi Sarah Matlhasedi	Saturday 02 September 2006 3:16:42 pm SIL or Spurious calculation for 1002/2003/2002 How would one define a 1002/2003/2002 when performing either a SIL or Spurious calculation. What is the difference between the two and which calculation is good for which voting? PLease help!

For each architecture you need to make a reliability model. When you have the reliability models you can calculate the safety integrity level or spurious trip level. Now how to make a model is too much to explain overhere. You can search this site and find articles and courses on these topics. Also many boosk are available about reliability engineering
