HIMA receives Award for Product Value Leadership from Frost & Sullivan

The growth partnership company Frost & Sullivan awarded HIMA with the 2008 Global Safety Solutions Product Value Leadership of the Year Award for its innovative H41q/H51q safety controllers. According to Frost & Sullivan, the family of safety controllers offers higher process availability to the international process industry. This is evidenced by increased flexibility, simple integration and a commendable value-to-cost ratio.

“The H41q/H51q safety solution is designed on the Quadruple Modular Redundant (QMR) technology, which allows for higher process uptime and a fault tolerant architecture thus helping end users to maximize their process efficiency,” says Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Muthuraman Ramasamy. “Customers testify that HIMA’s safety solution is one of the most reliable solutions in the market and also perceive it to be the hallmark of flexibility and open communication.” As grounds for the Award, Frost & Sullivan emphasizes the unique system availability that the HIMA technology affords.
In the customer analysis conducted by Frost & Sullivan, clients cited the flexible architecture and cost effectiveness of the H41q/H51q controllers as one of the main rationale behind the installation of the HIMA’s solutions. The decisive challenge in the process industry, according to Frost & Sullivan, is the need to improve process availability and enhance overall profitability. However, very few systems currently available in the market are able to meet this vital business need of customers.
