ICS Triplex wins first place for Innovative Technology at ISA Show

ICS Triplex was awarded the first place for the Trusted TMR Speed Monitor module at the Innovative Technologies Pavilion of the ISA ExpoControl 2004 Show in Mexico, 9 June 2004.
The module is designed to autonomously provide over-speed and over-acceleration protection for up to three rotating machines, with each over-speed trip having three independent, fault-tolerant speed inputs and a fault tolerant digital output.
Like all the other Trusted series I/Os, the module provides sequence-of-event (SOE) reporting with 1mS resolution.

The show which is the largest of its kind, took place at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City.
This yearly event is organised by the ISA and attracts approximately 10,000 visitors.
"It was a great honour to receive the first place from the Innovative Technologies Contest.
We invest in the development of our products and are always looking for new ways to provide our customers with high availability and high reliability solutions," said Allan Rentcome, Technology Director for ICS Triplex.
The presentation for the first place was made by Lowell McCaw, President of ISA International and was followed by a series of presentations on ICS Triplex technologies by Carlos Ibanez, Regional Sales Director for Latin America.
Also exhibited at the show were the T6050 SurgeGard, the T6200 Controller and the Valve Monitor module.
