ICS Triplex Chosen for LNG Project in Egypt

ICS Triplex Houston has been awarded the systems for the Egypt LNG Phase II project by Bechtel International Inc.
The systems will provide Emergency Shutdown functions for a Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) plant located in Idku , Egypt .
There will be two trains within the LNG facility, each with their own main control room, compressor control, propane condenser and substation systems.

All will share the Marine Terminal, Storage and Loading systems.
There will be three Trusted™ controllers each with remote Trusted™ I/O systems.
Communication to the remote systems will be by single mode fibre optic cable, with cable lengths up to 4 Km. The Trusted™ controllers will be connected together on two peer networks, one dedicated to Train 1 and one dedicated to Train 2.
The two peer networks will both be connected to the Marine Terminal system providing a communications link to all systems.
The systems will provide alarm information to an Emerson Delta V DCS system over dual serial modbus communication links.
