The Qatif Producing Facility Project is Saudi Aramco's newest gas/oil production facility. It will deliver 1/4 of the total oil production for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
ICS Triplex and Emerson Process Management teamed up to provide the distributed control system and ESD solution on the project.
ICS Triplex Americas provided 7 Trusted™ ESD systems and 3 Trusted™ BMS systems with a total I/O exceeding 5600 points.
Aramco Services said "ICS Triplex has been the shining star on our project and we look forward to working with them again in the future".
The last system was shipped to Austin on 10/5/03 for integrated FAT.
