HIMA opens second Sales & Service Centre in Australia
Melbourne - Due to the continuous success by HIMA in Australia, HIMA has established a sales & service centre in Melbourne. In addition to the representative office in Perth which has been in operation since June 2000, the new office will particularly be responsible for customer-oriented project support across Eastern Australia (Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland) and New Zealand.
The office will provide project engineering, project management, software development, commissioning services, support and training services. As an example the office executes one of the biggest safety-related automation projects in Australia (approx. 5000 I/O´s) - the SANTOS Moomba ACE Project. In parallel to this the office concentrates on process industry as petrochemical and chemical plants, refinery, oil and gas, power and mining. Special applications are burner management systems, fire and gas systems and pipeline protection systems.
